Professionally trained in London, seasoned in the food paradises of Australia and Singapore, Chef Carmen Tan now serves gourmet creations to private dining guests at her cosy home in Serangoon Garden. A Quest for Flavours

"I was drawn to cooking because of the endless possibilities to create flavour profiles," says Chef Carmen. In her hands, the five basic tastes are transformed into creative and delectable concoctions of flavours and textures, a 'je ne sais quoi' that once tasted will be remembered for a long time.

Well-travelled yet rooted in Singapore, Chef Carmen's food bears the imprint of her globe-trotting and inspiration from her own family table. A dinner at The Tablemates can take you on an instant adventure from Hokkaido to Catalonia to Mexico then back to Singapore again. Get ready to be transported to a different time and place, & even reminisce memories from yesteryear.

Made with Dedication & Love

Dedication means travelling to various wet markets and gourmet produce stores around the island, cultivating sourdough yeast for tens of times until the rise is just right, and so much more.

 

And that is why our chef wants to share her foods to customers in a private dining setting, not a restaurant. Savour the food and feel the love.
